THE MISSION: Apex Upholstery has been serving North America for over 60 years. Apex began as a family owned and operated business and has since grown into a complete manufacturing facility. They can carry your vision straight through the manufacturing process, from initial drawings to finished product, including foam, fabric, framework, and associated millwork. Apex works with industry leaders such as Chandos Construction, Earls, Sorrentino’s, PCL, Canadian Brewhouse, Boston Pizza, and Edmonton’s state of the art arena Rogers Place. They were in search of a marketing team that could assist them with a number of projects including a website re-design, rebrand, stationary, social media management, graphic design, vehicle/building decals, and more!
Apex approached Crow with a single JPG logo file that wouldn’t work across a variety of marketing initiatives. We began by digging deep to understand the business, the history, and the clients they work with. We then worked alongside ownership to develop a logo that would work on all applications from fabric tags to vehicle wraps to social media.
Apex Upholstery had an old, text-heavy website that was next to impossible for internal staff to update year over year. We worked alongside Apex to build an industry-leading website with a focus on lead generation, mobile friendliness, speed, and a simple user experience that would also set them apart from their local and national competitors.
THE RESULTS: The result was a logo and brand that not only aligned with Apex’s vision and mission, but reflected the quality work and craftsmanship Apex is known for.
Immediately after launch, we saw a major increase in website form submissions (leads). Today, their new website is simple to update, easy to navigate, and reflects the success and reputation Apex has built over the past 6 decades.
Leveraging the power of social media, we strategically created social profiles to feature Apex’s work, connect with suppliers and clients, and drive leads to their newly built website. We built their Instagram to almost 1K followers in less than 7 months.
We then ensured brand consistency across all client touch points from website through to vehicle decals, stationary (letterhead & business cards), social media, advertising, and so on.
Crow continues to assist Apex on a project-by-project basis as their preferred outsourced marketing department.
