THE MISSION: Blue Kettle approached Crow with an old, outdated website that wasn’t functioning properly, wasn’t mobile friendly, and was losing them business to their competitors. On top of their website, they found social media overwhelming and didn’t know where to start. We worked alongside Blue Kettle to map out a new E-Commerce website with a focus on user experience, and a social media strategy that would not only build a community, but convert followers into website buyers.
THE RESULTS: Blue Kettle’s new website is a fast, customer experience-focused website that is informative, media-rich, drives sales, and gives instant credibility to interested shoppers. In addition, we implemented a number of tools on the new website that their old website was lacking including a feature allowing customers to quickly sort and filter to find locations close to them that sell Blue Kettle product. We then took it one step further and added a mapping feature so customers could not only identify stores close to them, but with one click on their mobile device would be provided turn-by-turn navigation to the selected store. This e-commerce website was delivered ahead of schedule and under budget for the client.
Regarding social media, Crow built new accounts on Instagram and Facebook for Blue Kettle utilizing industry best practices. We then went to work creating and posting content, ran giveaways, and created an engaged community around the Blue Kettle Brand. We grew Blue Kettle’s Instagram from 0 to 1.2K followers in less than one year and utilizing Google Analytics, tracked the number of users converted from social platforms to the website, and through to a purchase on the website. This data was not previously accessible to Blue Kettle and they found it extremely valuable in creating social media campaigns and calculating an ROI on marketing.
